  • Once you have gone through the form, you would add to cart, checkout , make payment, etc. as you normally would do when you shop on an online store -> Our organizer will review your sign-up form, and once approved we will issue you an actual invoice with the real charges (crediting you for the payment that you already made). Whatever you pay at checkout will be credit on the actual invoice.

 

  • ALL FIELDS MUST BE FILLED OUT. Incomplete form will not be considered.

Dear vendor applicant,

  

Thank you for your interest in becoming a vendor at Tastes of South East Asia - Moon Festival 2023 , taking place on September 16, 2023 at Celebration Square: 300 City Centre Dr. Mississauga, ON L5B 3C1   .

  

Steps:

You are officially a vendor only when we (the organizer) receive both full payment AND signed contract from you. All prices are before applicable sales tax. All payment is nonrefundable unless specifically stated otherwise.

  • Fill out this Vendor Sign Up Form -> review the sitemap, pick a spot. 
  • Once approved, the organizer team issues the following to you (typically within 3 business days following date of form submission)
    • Invoice: for your review and for you to make payment. Preferred payment method is e-transfer; the email for e-transfer will be listed on the invoice. There are discounts for early payments. If payment not received within 5 business days following date of invoice issuance, we unfortunately cannot hold your spot, and you might need to pick a new spot.
    • Vendor Agreement: for your review and signature.

   

  • We reserve full rights to accept or reject vendors within 10 business days of submitted vendor application. By going through with the vendor application, you certify that you completely understand and agree to this policy, and that you release the organizer, its agent, employees, volunteers of all responsibilities and liabilities associated with the approval/ rejection of your vendor application.

   

  • In the event we determine that you may not be a good fit for the event, we will refund your payment within 10 business days of your sign-up submission.

  

Vendor fee tiers: 

We have 3 tiers of vendor booths

  • “VIP” area surrounds the lawn and the stage, vendors at these locations can expect to serve the the most engaging traffic.
  • “Premium” area surrounds the driveway ("City Centre Dr"), vendors here are the first thing that attendees see coming into the square. 
  • “Deluxe” area surrounds the Fountain / Splash Pad, vendors here can expect to welcome more relaxing attendees, or those who enjoy shades, far from the music / noise.

  

Vendor fee notes:

  • Vendor fee includes 1x Tent, 1x Table, 2x Chairs. This can be deducted if you bring you own table, tent, chair, or if you are a food/drink truck or ice cream van.

 

  • Depending on your spot, there may or may not be electrical power.
    • Vendor spot may or may not include 15A power plug. See sitemap for power locations
    • Generators are allowed, BUT must be pre-approved by city, low-noise, AND must be CSA-certified
    • NOT ALLOWED: Charcoal grill, Gasoline, Alcohol, Helium

 

  • Vendor fee will need to add damage deposit ($500/$200 for Food/Nonfood) (refundable 6-8 weeks after event)

 

  • Vendor fee will need to add $60 Mississauga vendor license. Exemptions may apply. If no exemption applies, vendor need to add $60 to pay to Mississauga City through organizer. 

 

  • Vendor fee will need to add vendor liability insurance. Vendor can find its own, or add $85/$65 (Food/Non-Food) to get coverage through organizer

 

  • All vendors' spot reservation: First To Pay AND Sign Contract

 

  • All vendors are responsible for all cost of keeping their spot clean and free of stain / damage, or subject to full chargeback from the city

 

  • All vendors must be responsible for all cost complying with all Peel Health regulations

 

  • Nonfood vendors must not showcase or sample food/drink

 

  • All prices and quotes are shown before applicable sales tax

  

Vendor fee discount:

  • Early bird : August 31 ($100); September 7 ($50)
  • Loyalty : previous Taste of Vietnam, Tastes of SEA vendor ($50)
  • Non-profit / charitable organization ($75)
  • Moonfest Performer ($150)
  • Bring your own tent ($170)
  • Bring your own table ($30)
  • Bring your own chair ($15)
  • Food Truck (no tent, table, chair needed) ($215)

 

As mentioned, please go through the form, add to cart, and make payment. We will endeavor to review your sign up form as soon as possible, and will provide invoice and contract as soon as possible if you are approved, and also provide you with refund as soon as possible if we think you may not be a good fit for the event. Whatever you pay at checkout will be credit on the actual invoice.
